The price of Rosewood just went up. Gopal sent us some great wood, hopefully he's okay. And all the workers. There were strands of long black Indian hair from the ladies sewing up our burlap covered packages. It hurts to think of the possibilities.

I've not heard from Gopal, after sending him an email two days ago. Look at Cochin, lower left tip of Indian Peninsula. here is a map of India: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/mapshells/indian_subcontinent/in dia/india.htm If the map appears below, look for Cochin.

Bruce...I have a feeling that the east side of that peninsula got it a lot worse. Nonetheless, lets hope he was more than a quarter mile off shore. It really wouldn't have taken much to be out if harms way. That's the real tragedy...if only the technology had been in place to provide for a warning.

Yes, I spent two hours reading news from Cochin Kochi. The mounted relief from there and only some damage. John Hall heard from Gopal finally, so he's fine. Great news.
