I've been searching through the old threads about this and can't find exactly what I need to know. With John McKenna's help I got the sides laminated, pilage bent and almost ready to attach the top to the rims. I'm getting about 1/4" clearance at the bridge position, laying a straightedge on the top. It looks like this is about right from the Collins plans I'm using. Just seems like it should be more than this to get a low action at the 12th fret. Or, maybe I'm not supposed to be shooting for that low action?
