Just curious if anyone has a K&K on hand to weigh?

I do but I can tell you before weighing anything that the K&K is going to weigh very little.

Had to take a pic to put on our Facebook page so I thought I would post it here too.

This is my new Martin CEO7 and I love it. When I started building in 2004 I had three Martins and I gave them all away as gifts thinking that if I was forced to play what I built myself I would become a better luthier, faster... as a necessity... :? :D

Don't know if it worked but this is the first Martin I've owned in 20 years. I love this little guitar and have always loved this model. In my opinion these CEO models are/were Chris Martin's finger in the eye of litigious Gibson. They are vintage Gibson like right down to the sunburst finishes and they have the Kalamazoo vibe going for them too.

It's very light weight, has a superb semi-V asymmetrical neck like the vintage days and even sounds vintage. As such I thought that the Monel strings would be a good match so they are going on the ax.

Martin is building in my experience some of the best guitars built in my lifetime. They are more lightly built again, sound and play better and coveted features such as forward shifted braced, Adi tops and more are commonly available on a plethora of attractive models.

And you still have a great company that is the standard that all others are judged by behind you when you select a Martin. Boy Hesh has a pair to say this on a guitar builder's forum, eh.... ;)

And to get to the point.... I could have selected any pick-up available and obtained this pick-up at cost and look what ole Hesh is going with on his own personal Martin. Imagine that a K&K. :)
