Very nice....but a shame about the holes in the top. Better luck on the next one.

Very nice, John.

It's a lot like what I'm working on (only nicer!), with Shane's Lutz but with walnut. My plans for the rosette ring are similar. I like a plainer one on the small bodies too, but mine will have the ab ring on the inside. I'll post a nudy when I have something to show

Don -- you kill me

And here I thought the holes were position markers for doing a burst!

Mr Mayes -- that's lookin real nice. How wide is the lower bout?

I don't even use the holes under the bridge anymore.. just force of habit
drilling them....

14.75" at the lower.... not really a parlor.. just kinda a parlor shape...

John I really like the shape -- initially I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me thinking it looked a little big for a Parlor.

Are you now fastening down your fretboard extensions differently now?

Nice job John! I love that shape. Your choice of wood for it is excellent as well!

Using a couple halogens, with softbox style shoot through. The
background is seamless photo paper (some expensive paper I'll tell ya!)
Pics were shot with my Olympus E-500 with the 14-45mm Lens.
