I have been wanting a nice set of highly figured koa for a while - so while I was browsing around I noticed AC had some georgeous sets of 4A Koa for 215.00 - the price was right with me - so I contacted Ed and he told me how to go about ordering -
I settled on a set of Koa in high flame, a couple tops and some brace wood - I got a money order together and went to the PO and sent it off.
The next day I had a parcel notice, so I went to pick it up and Lo and Behold! there was my AC order -Overnight!!!!!!!
The Koa was awesome, beautifully figured, and dark when wet with 100% rubbing alcohol. The bearclaw Englemann was even more incredible than the photos on the site demonstrated! The sitka top was definitely a beauty too, and I even got some extra brace wood!
AC even took the time to convert it to CDN dollars so I wouldnt lose money on exchange.
If anyone has ever thought of doing business with AC they are by far the best ppl I have ever done tonewood business with.

Thanks Ed and AC!!!
Cheers

As are the rest of the sponsors here, Ed is a great guy to do business with. I know I said this before but I bought quite a few unique red cedar tops that are fantastic

I agree Ed has some killer sitka! His HAA may be the best value on his site.

I agree, I do business with as many of the sponsors as possible, but Ed sure makes it easy with him. He emailed me back a while knowing I was looking for some high figure Bearclaw for steel string. He sent me the wood, wanted me to look at it first before I paid. The wood was beautiful, a little thin but workable. It is pretty rare that you get wood and pay later. Ed really does a great job.

I just got in some Cherry from Bob and also must say that he likewise does a great job and his woods are exceptional. This was my first purchase from the Zootman but not my last.

I will try and do more with the other sponsors as the pocketbook and time will allow.
