Found this link while surfing the net tonight. Some pretty cool tools

I have 2 of their tools...expensive but VERY nice.
I have the headstock cutting fixture (slotted)
and the edge vise.
Awesome!!!!!
Also, Chris is very easy to work with

I have the binding base and agree, they are very nice. Apparently he made it (the binding base at least) in cooperation with Charles Fox and even he was impressed with how well it turned out! My experience with Chis was also totally positive.

I use my laminate trimmer. (PC 7310) with a 3/8th template guide
I also use a 1/4 inch downcutting bit.
Chris at luthiers tools sells the bits, but I found them cheaper elsewhere.
The edge vise is great. I had Chris make 2 templates for me
One was for my end graft and the other was for the tenon of my neck joint.
it is flawless. Very well made.

I'd love to have some of the binding jigs, but I'd need at least 4 of them
and 4 PC7301's.... so that's run me around $1200.... I think I'll stick with
my set-up for now.. although that jig looks very nice indeed

I'd really love to have that binding router jig to help route free hand, really cool tool yeah!

I have the binding jig and it is a nice jig...quite the space saver compared to the jigs I have seen. I use a dewalt laminate trimmer and they have on specifically for it

It was one of the jigs I looked at before I made my simple version of it (yes, I know I said I wouldn't post this picture again, but I just can't help myself...)

Ken Walton (forum newbie) and I made two router bases just like that yesterday - its my second one, I wanted to have one set up for just binding size, the other can be set for different purfling ledges.

But man does that slot head jig look great or what !! So easy its almost illegal.TonyKarol38855.3347453704

I have John Halls routing fixture and it is great except on some cutaways I have reach issues so I just bought this

Arnt, your jig looks alot like one in Jim Williams' book on guitar
construction. Jim's jig is made from plywood but design is basically the
same.

Yes Martin, I think I looked at that one as well. Of course I didn't get a chance to make the plans of it yesterday (but I did spend 3 hours whith a new customer, and I got a commission for a guitar and a guitarshaped bouzouki, prepare yourselves for questions regarding that one! Anyways: YAHOOO! ), hopefully I get some time over the week-end. I'll post them on the forum for anyone interested.
