Thanks for all the nice comments. I really appreciate it.

I have always used nitro except for three guitars that I used a waterbase finish on. I used the USL by Target Coatings. Stew Mac also sells it under the Color Tone name. I liked it pretty good at first but then I decided it just couldn't look as good as nitro. I do finally have my own inexpensive shop built spray booth. I don't really know how well its going to work year round though. I've hardly had a chance to test it. It's a 4'x4'x4' 1/2" plywood box. I have a pipe mounted in the back of it that goes to a 1800 cfm blower. Another pipe comes out of the blower into a thing I have permanently mounted in the window. It allows me to open and close the air flow for the booth. The booths exhaust is also pulled through some filters before it makes it to any ducting.

I do plan on doing more experimenting with the parabolic bracing. The main thing I would like to be able to do is bring out the bass a little more. I'm sure it will improve over time but I would like to see it a little better on the front end.
Thanks everyone!!

Colby,

A small side soundport on the top of the upper bout brings more bass sound to the player I have found - little impact out front though if this is where your bass is weak. Thinning the top behind the bridge to the tailblock helps here.Dave White38871.5091435185

I'll take the Coco / Snakewood, please.
Man, I could stare at that headstock for hours.
Or until blindness set in.

Very impressive.

My word, there's some mighty talented luthiers here. Those are just stunning Colby! Very nice work. I sure do hope I can become that worthy someday.
How does the thinner depth of your OM, differ in sound from one of regular size?

Schweeeeet....I particuarly like the Nick Lucas-style. What's the width accross the lower bout on that? Upper bout? 13th fret neck joint? Body length? Depth?

I feel a plan-drawing session coming on

Here you go.

Upper bout: 10 7/8"
Waist:    8 3/4"
Lower bout: 15"
Body Length: 19 3/4"

This one is a 25.5" scale length and a 13 fret neck body joint.
