But this time for veneer. I've checked the three sources I've purchased
from in the past (Certainly Wood, Crown, and Herzog), but can't find
Ziricote. Does anyone know of a veneer source?

I'd like to use it for the faceplate of the amp I'm about to complete. I
need it to be so thin because I need some threads available for the
potentiometer bolts. It will be backed by the maple veneer and the
aluminum chasis.

James, you might want to try Lee Valley for very thin supply, i know they even have wenge in their boxes of mixed veneers, in case you can't find any.

Wenge's hardly rare or similar looking to Ziricote, though, is it?
