On the local news here in Adelaide Australia...Pete Townsend of The Who
pledges that he has smashed up his last guitar.

Dont know about you guys but I reckon artists who smash up guitars
should come back in their next life as luthiers.

Sorry Martin but on this occasion I must disagree. How about they come back as cheap guitars in a WHO dedication band.

Cheers

Evan, ME TOO!! They came out an hour late, Roger says, "HELLO BIRMINGHAM"! They play for about 40 minutes, Roger says, "GOODNIGHT BIRMINGHAM"! And they disappear! NO ENCORE, NO NOTHING! And then, well, you know the rest about the "Farewell" thing!

My show I guess was longer, I remember The Clash and David Johannsen opening up for them at Shea Stadium.
Sounds like they owe you big time!

If they'd been around at the time, maybe they would have got sponsorship/endorsement from Estaban

I'm actually considering making an "Esteban" model guitar...only thing is, I'd only be able to sell it on late-night cable, and I'd have to include one of those hats with each guitar sold...where does a guy get all those hats?

What are you trying to say about Senior Esteban, Michael?

At least Esteban saved a ton of money on car insurance!Billy T38888.6242708333

Maybe they can smash Estaban guitars. That would be no loss there.
