You betcha! I'll see you all there, I'm leaving in a little while.
For those who may not know, they have a library on campus and there is free internet access for us all there. So it'll be very easy to log on and keep you all informed by giving day to day updates right here!
So all you OLF junkies can still stop by and check in everyday! I know I'll be doing that.

I'm just leaving..... It's only a short 4.5 hour drive for me with a truck load of wood. I'm stopping on the way to pick up an almost all acrylized wood bass for display. The builder got it finished last night. Must say the pics are pretty stunning. Stop by and check it out. Acrylic impregnated board, neck, inlays top, back and head stock. Only wood not acrylized is the light weight ash core. No....it doesn't weight that much

Unfortunately I'm not going to make it. I read the fine print and there's no
"single day rate". $200 for one day is a bit hard to swallow...

Chas, if you are near Tacoma the exhibition is open to the public Saturday 1:30-4PM...free of cost.

Shane is a few tables down from me and we had a couple chat opportunities...man!! is he knowledgeable about his woods!!!! I learned some things quick!! Anyone ordering from Shane can do so with great relief and confidence me thinks.

I'm out at the GAL meet right now, checking in to say hello. I've already seen few of the regulars here, and we are ALL having a blast. Now, it's getting time to grab the guitar and head out to find somewhere and someone to play with!

Stay tuned!

Well, I've met Steve K., Shane and Paddy today. Paddy bought his first piece of wood (cedar) at a hardware store before he even made it to campus! That boy is in trouble tomorrow when the exhibition hall opens.

Looking forward to seeing the others tomorrow.

Well, I can say that we have some great guys here on the OLF. Here are a few shots.

Shane and Mark.

Shane's stash.

Larry Davis is a great guy and and has some awesome wood.

Todd Rose contemplating some spruce

Steve with his beautiful ambrosia guitar from Zootman Bob

I wish I had taken a better picture of this Koa guitar. It is stunning.

Evan doing pro bono work on my '37 Gibson. Does this guy look like a New Yorker or what?

Paddy and Marshall Brune. Marshall put on an outstanding french polish workshop. I have to get out there some time to take the full course.

Wow, great pics. So much zoot in one place, it must be heaven. I wonder how much Paddy bought to get that "free" t-shirt!

Wish I was there. Keep those pictures coming!

Thanks, Scott! Is that the legendary Eugene Clark to the left of Steve's koa (which is gorgeous--I don't think I want to see a better photo of it!)?
