Don,

If I was living in the US the Laguna would be the one iI would buy. These
machines always get a good rating in the woodie magazines.

Cheers

Well, the saw is on order...I'll have it in less than two weeks. I also grabbed a couple of their Resaw King blades. All I need to do is figure out how I'm going to pay for it....!
[/QUOTE]
And how to use it.
Of course I'm just kidding. Good Luck on your new saw. Your gonna love it.Bobc38891.8487962963

I just resawed a bunch of maple on my Laguna and it is always a pleasure to use. When I got my saw I had it delivered up to my folks house up in Sonoma County out in the sticks, down a gravel rode. The delivery truck was a small FED EX tractor trailer and the driver a little inexperienced. It was hard to get that thing into the garage where my dad and I have our big shop. The saw just barely clears the ceiling and we had to tip it to get it in the door. The motor and the table were very heavy (mine's a Laguna 24"). The thing was well packed and required assmbly. The video and the manual are helpful. I used a floor jack to hold up the moter while I bolted it in. Also the wiring on the switch and the power cord was a little weird, but again the manual helped. I had to buy the power cord and plug, they don't supply this because each shop may have different wiring possibilities.

I know you'll get a lot of pleasure using that saw, good luck and watch those fingers!

Alain,

This particular promotion lasts through June 30.
I'm thinking they do these promotions with some frequency. Bob got his for around the same price because he was given "free shipping" which amounted to the same thing. It's just a question of how they promote it. Last month the LT18 and the LT24 were on sale. Me thinks it's like Sears....wait a couple months and the sale comes back around again.

Nice saw... It is going to be great!!!

Better tell the wife to keep an eye on the kitchen table. I have a feeling you are going to sawing everything in site!

Great Saw, look forward to you getting busy on some of that wood you are going to part with. Looking forward to that for sure.

Congratulations!

Don,

You are going to love that saw. I've had my 16HD for a couple years now and wouldn't trade it for anything. Well, maybe a Laguna 18 or something bigger!! Have fun with it.

Kevin
