i was taken with bob's very simple and effective endgraft jig illustrated in the photessay in the jigs section of the forum. but after making on and using it i found i wanted to be able to adjust it to cope with both straight and tapered grafts of varying widths.

after pondering over various needlessly complex solutions, the simple solution came to me; affix aluminium t-tracks, those available from all the woodworking supply vendors, to the edges of the clamp plates so that the spacing and alignment of the guide bars/router platform is adjustable to handle a graft of any width and taper.

sorry, but as i exist in the cyber dark ages i haven't the facility to post a photo of the modification.

are you going to charge me with patent infringement bob, or demand royalties?

Michael, I think that is a good addition to the jig. Isn't it wonderful what you can do with T-track these days

Had to go look it up myself. It's a track that will hold a t-nut, like the t-slots on a milling machine.
