LOL....Bob lives out in Buffalo on the NW part of the state, while the flooding is mostly in central NY / Southern tier areas. My sister-in-law and her family were flooded out of their house last night, and evacuated by the fire dept along with everyone on their street at 3 am. She lives in Oneonta, which is pretty flooded as I understand it. My home town area is pretty flooded too, up near Utica, NY. The Barge Canal, the Mohawk River, and West Canada Creek are all near each other at one point in the Mohawk Valley area, and they are all severely flooded.Don Williams38896.8498611111

I am in the middle of this mess and though I am personally okay the area is going to be inundated for the next few days. I couldn't get to work today as the creek has the bridges underwater but I should be able to get out tomrrow. I did have some wash out and the water is perculating up out of the ground .
Amazing to watch. We are lucky and we are safe

Geez Hesh when you first posted this I had no idea what was going on. Burried in the shop with no TV just music. Watched the news this morning and saw all the flooding. Really terrible.
John Hall glad your safe my friend. Can't get that wood stash wet.
Don hope your sister and family are OK.

I'm in Danby, NY (outside Ithaca), not far from where a lot of flooding is happening, but I confess I didn't know the extent of it (I don't watch TV) till yesterday afternoon when a friend stopped by and told me all about it. Where she lives, down near Binghamton, it's really bad. She can't get home right now because of all the flooded roads, highways, and bridges. We're up high here, so we're not affected. Counting our blessings!

I know what you guy with water problems are giong through. Back in either april or may we had flooding problems here in NH. A brook that runs thru the property next door to me overflowed and ran thru my back yard for 2.5 days. The groung got so saturated that the water percolated up thru my footing and slab in the basement. Of course it was in my workshop side. I spent 2.5 days sweeping water into a sump hole to keep the basement from floodind. Ont time I did it for 28 hours straight. I realized I am getting too old for that stuff anymore.

Good luck with the water Guys..

Gary

Gary,

You just haven't had any luck with the water man. First the hurricanes and now this.

Hang tough guys. It can't rain forever...I think.

Tell me about it.
We were suppose to go to New Orleans last Sept... Thank You Katrina

We basicly lost everything in Key West.. Thank you Wilma.

Flooding here at home this year.

We are planning to go to Orlando about the 2nd week in Sept after we close for the season. So if anyone else is thinking about you might want to change your plans because ther might be a lot of water down there.

Gary, I can relate, down on business to New Orleans and was evacuated for Ivan and Katrina. The folks there said they had rather not see me during Huricane season.
