How can I tell what my nut/saddle is made from? I've read ALOT about replacing synthetic nut/saddle with bone. Is there a way to test?
Thanks

Hi,
You can put a match flame to a small scrap and if it smells like burnt hair it's bone. You can also put a very hot butter knife to it and get the same results.
plastic will melt.
BUY from a reputable source and you will get what you ask for.
