Well the client picked up the SJ Thinline before I could get the photo shoot done. I went over to his house last night to a dinner, jam and swim party. He pulled the SJ out of the case put a strap on it. started playing it. He played for a bout 10 mins. then turned to see who was walking in the door and bumped the back side of the lower bout against a chair pretty hard and knock a 1" x 2" hole right at the apex of the lower bout just below the linnings and about 1/2" from a brace.

The repair will be pretty easy but will have to rework some finish as well, so I have an other chance for the photo shoot MichaelP38917.5131134259

Sad to hear about this Michael, you sure had your share with this one, hopefully, it will all be behind soon and this customer will be able to look back and grin.

form the time you decided to make it into a thinline to save the project to replacing the back from the loose braces..... man! Its been a REAL project.

but nonetheless, its a beauty and something really special will come out of it!

But I love it. It is loader than I thought it would be and sweet-sweet on the mid to high side. I think I will loosen up the bass side just a little while in it. Aesthetically I thinks it is among my best work even being as simple bound as it is. But the darn thing just wont stay gone MichaelP38917.5359837963

Must be something about thinlines, I did one in Walnut that whilst binding it I damaged the top and had to replace, It then came back as it had a speaker land on it on stage and it cracked the side, I haven't seen it since I repaired it mind, fingers crossed.
